BIO
Adia Grace Weaver graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Sociocultural Anthropology and Visual Arts, where she received the Alex Adam Award ’07 for her interdisciplinary project “house horizons”, which explored ethnographic research on digital identity and histories of medical racism.
In 2022, she was hand-selected by the former head of Disney General Entertainment Content to serve as an Apprentice, and shadowed network executives to learn about a career in media and entertainment. During her time at The Walt Disney Company, Adia worked with National Geographic, ABC Entertainment, and 20th Century Fox Television.
Across her collaborations, she aims to prioritize innovation and uplift global human stories. Adia Grace Weaver's work has focused on the development & destruction of collective identity and social space, and she uses autoethnography, poetry, prose, and photography to explore the possibility of liberatory futures.
